What isARIC?

The Arkansas Resource Information CyberCenter (ARIC) is the "official" information and referral source for human and community service organizations in the State of Arkansas, supported by the Career Opportunities Partnership Cabinet (COPC), the TEA Support Unit (DHS), and many others! More than 15,000 service programs are listed so far, and ARIC is getting more than 16,000 hits per month! This is *without* any program support (in terms of dollars or staff). Imagine what we could do if we had some resources!

ARIC is a simple, on-line database of community/human service organizations. It’sfree for all to use! We have everything from food banks to emergency shelters to literacy programs listed, so hopefully we have the information you and your clients need!

If an organization provides services to people in Arkansas, it is likely that some information about the agency has been entered into the database by a volunteer, but anyone can learn to update their own information or search the database for resources.

ARIC is a perfect and free way to help you get the word out about what any service agency/organization has to offer. Links back to an organization’s own web pages can also be added, as well as e-mail capability! It's fully-interactive!

ARIC is an unfunded, fully-volunteer organization.
