The Interagency Training Program (IATP) Advisory Council is pleased to provide State employees a variety of training opportunities. The programs are designed to meet the continuing needs for employee development and improved job performance.
The Program was approved by the Governor on December 14, 1983. Several months prior to approval, the Advisory Council worked with the Office of Personnel Management and other State agencies to survey employee training needs and develop the initial phase of the Program.
The establishment of the Program reflects the concern of agencies to accomplish positive strides in Arkansas State Government. The cooperation and volunteerism provided by the participating agencies are the cornerstones of the Interagency Training Program.
Based on advice and input received from employees, supervisors, administrators and directors of participating agencies, the Advisory Council and Program Coordinator periodically update the training plan and conduct needs assessments.
The Council encourages you to improve your job performance through the programs offered. Please contact your immediate supervisor and training liaison concerning enrollment procedures. You also may communicate with us at any time. The Interagency Training Program Staff may be reached by phoning 501-682-2252. |
