Responsible for the examination and licensure of public accountants and certified public accountants in Arkansas.
Responsible for administration of examinations and licensing of individuals in the practice of acupuncture and related techniques. Practitioner classifications include licensed acupuncturist, certified acupuncturist, acupuncture practitioner, and oriental acupuncture practitioner.
Duties include administrative and research services for the Arkansas Supreme Court and Arkansas Court of Appeals. Responsible for Court Appointed Public Advocates (CASA) and court interpreter certification.
Responsible for administering the airport aid program that provides funds for the establishment and maintenance of the state's airports.
The duties of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Administration are to receive applications for and issue, refuse to issue, suspend or revoke permits to manufacture, wholesale, retail and transport alcoholic beverages in Arkansas.
Also, promulgate and adopt rules and regulations necessary to comply with alcoholic beverage control laws of the State, and in addition, conduct hearings for the purpose of cancellation, suspension or revocation of any and all alcoholic beverage permits.

Maintains a system of licensing and regulating real estate appraisers that is in compliance with federal guidelines and results in license holders that have verified adequate education, experience, and have demonstrated a competency to provide quality service consistent with their specific credentials.
Responsible for registration of architects and the regulation of the practice of architects. Administers tests and records continuing education hours for architects.
Responsible for administration of the tax laws of Arkansas to exercise supervision over: the valuation, assessment and equalization of all property for ad valorem tax purposes, (except utility property); the collection of those taxes and the assessors, equalization boards, tax collectors and other officers to insure that all assessments on property is in relative proportion to the true value.
Responsible for management, control, and jurisdiction over all professional or semi-professional matches and exhibitions involving boxing, kick boxing, wrestling, or martial arts in Arkansas.
Responsible for licensing and regulating the activities of athletic trainers in Arkansas.
