The
Board of Electrical Examiners
is responsible for the administration of Arkansas' laws governing
the licensing of electricians. The following classes of license
are available: master electrician, journeyman electrician,
residential master electrician, residential journeyman electrician,
air conditioning electrician, and industrial maintenance electrician.
The board is also responsible for registering electrical apprentices.
Additionally,
the board establishes standards for the performance of electrical
work in the state.
The Director
of the Department of Labor has the responsibility of enforcing
these laws.

Industrial Maintenance Exams
The
Board of Electrical Examiners, Electrical Administrator, administers
the Industrial Maintenance Examination only. All other electrician's
examinations are administered and proctored by Experior Assessments.
