The Arkansas Minority Health Commission welcomes
Idonia L.Trotter as the
new executive director. AMHC will hold a press conference on
Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the
Arkansas State Capitol Rotunda. A reception will be held for Mrs. Trotter at
Mosaic Templars Cultural Center at
501 W. Ninth Street, Little Rock, AR 72201, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00p.m.
Trotter comes to the AMHC with a public health advocacy, public service and legal background. She obtained a
Juris Doctorate degree from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law and a
Master of Public Service from the UA Clinton School of Public Service.
The mission of The Arkansas Minority Health Commission is to ensure all minority Arkansans access to health care that is equal to the care provided to other citizens of the state and to seek ways to provide education, and address, treat, and prevent diseases and conditions that are prevalent among minority populations.
