Initial Narrative     V1 WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND IN THE RIGHT-HAND LANE OF U.S. 65B (MARTHA MITCHELL EXPRESSWAY) JUST BEFORE SOUTH WILLOW STREET. P1 WAS SITTING IN THE ROADWAY IN V1 TRAVEL LANE. V1 STRUCK THE P1 WITH ITS FRONT BUMPER. FOLLOWING THE IMPACT P1 WAS CARRIED A SHORT DISTANCE BENEATH V1 BEFORE COMING TO A FINAL REST IN THE ROADWAY FACING WEST. V1 CONTINUED A SHORT DISTANCE BEFORE PULLING ONTO THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF U.S. 65B FACING EAST.
