Initial Narrative     A WITNESS TO THIS ACCIDENT ADVISED HE WAS EASTBOUND ON GRAND AVE AND ALMOST STRUCK A PEDESTRIAN THAT WAS LYING IN THE LEFT LANE OF GRAND AVE IN THE 3000 BLOCK. HE STOPPED TO TRY TO GET THE MALE OUT OF THE ROADWAY. HE SAID THE MALE SAT UP AND WHEN HE DID HE WAS STRUCK BY V1 WHICH WAS EASTBOUND ON GRAND AVE.
